Bonnie Gao

I am an incoming Master's student in Geography with the Social Exergy Lab at the University of Victoria. My interests lie in the energy transition and its impact on different communities and individuals. I completed my Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo, in Environment, Resources and Sustainability with joint honours in Biology. Before returning to my education, I spent the last three years working at Natural Resources Canada in federal renewable energy programming. There I gained a deeper understanding of renewable energy projects and their impacts, which led me to pursue research in this area.
