Adam Regier

Adam Regier is a Masters student in the Geography department at the University of Victoria. He works in the Re-imagining Social Energy Transitions (ReSET) Colaboratory under the supervision of Dr. Christina Hoicka. Adam completed his undergraduate degree in geography with a focus on urban, health, and development studies and a minor in political science at the University of Victoria. During his undergraduate degree he completed an honours research project on the ways cities source renewable energy from their surrounding areas and worked for Environment and Climate Change Canada in the Climate Change Secretariat. As a part of his work with the ReSET colaboratory, Adam has participated in research concerning Indigenous renewable energy projects and the establishment of a First Nation Power Authority in British Columbia. His current work examines citizen and other non-traditional participation in regional renewable energy development.
